Future plans for the site.

Welcome, guinea pigs. 😀

For starters, the current forum layout will be temporary and will be upgraded if the site starts getting more traffic and usage. I didn't want to invest a ton of time or funds into it without knowing if there will be an actual user base to warrant it. If the site grows and sees a traffic increase, I am prepared to upgrade the site as well as the forum software to be more like what we are accustomed to. Again, this is a project I started in order to give a home to folks that wanted to continue to hang out with likeminded people without the constant fear of censorship or ban-hammer.

My plan is to be as hands off as possible in terms of moderation, I feel the first amendment is just as important as the 2nd. I feel like we are all adults and should have thick enough skin to be able to manage without any form of heavy censorship. There's only a few things I consider out of bounds, which you will see when you read the rules. I feel like what is expected should be pretty self-explanatory.

I'm more to than open to criticism and suggestions for the site. It's still a work in progress, so if you have any ideas that you think would add to the overall value, post it here and let me know.

My vision is to make this place as great as a certain other place was at one time. I don't want it to become a corporate entity where it is beholden to the sponsors. I want it to remain a channel for open and uncensored communication.
